Question: Should I turn on IPv6 support for my website?
Answer: If have a shared web hosting account then IPv6 support may not be available. Some shared web hosts support IPv6 while most do not at this time. If you are running your own server, VPS, or are using a cloud web host that supports IPv6 than you should enable IPv6 support.
IPv4 is still the default and most heavily used and supported internet protocol address system today. IPv6 has not taken off yet but will probably in the near future. Having IPv6 support enabled will allow IPv6 visitors to be able to access your website rather than having to use a tunnel to access your website via your IPv4 address.
